In Taos for End of the Year

Arrived in Taos on the day after Christmas. Got into town in a small window of good weather. The drive from San Diego was great until we got to Albuquerque. Started getting some snow on the freeway just south of town, but was pretty easy driving all the way up the gorge.
The next day awakened to the most beautiful weather we have seen in Taos since we've started coming here. Blue sky with not a cloud in site. Because of no cloud cover it was a little chilly, but threw on an extra layer of clothes and headed out to take a few shots. Above are shots in Nambe, La Villita, and Taos Morada. I took the Taos Morada shot on the 27th. The other two where taken on the 28th, obviously after a lot of the snow had melted. May be able to post some more photos later in the trip. If not, I hope all of you have a great New Year.

Johnnie, Thank you so much for the compliments & for checking out my blog. I went to your blog also, and must say you are an amazingly talented painter. Your portraits are not your "run-of-mill" images. You have a style that is uniquely your own, & show-off your great talent.
