Photo of the Week - April 18, 2011

A photo I took last summer in Taos. This old adobe church is one of the most photographed and painted churches in the country. Ansel Adams, Paul Strand and Georgia O'Keeffe are three of the more prominent artist's to use this building in their work. The church construction started in 1772, and was eventually finished in the early 1800's. It is a National Landmark Structure and a World Heritage Church, and is a place I will never tire of photographing. Check out all of my "Image of the Week" at:
