Coming back into town last Sunday night we were treated to another beautiful sunset and trying to find something a little more interesting to put in the image than showing you just another sky photo became my quest. But coming in from the south of town it became evident there really wasn't much along the way and the light was starting to disappear....my wife then turns to me and says, "Not The Tepee's Again".....Ha...yes I said, the Tepees!!! So here ya go.

This week's image was one I took about a year ago the morning after one of the largest snow dumps of the season. It was a spectacular morning. This image was also judged into this years New Mexico Art League "Black & White" Exhibition to be open to the public March 12 - April 23, 2016 at the New Mexico Art League Museum in Albuquerque. The Opening Reception is Saturday, March 19 from 5-7:30 pm. If you are going to be close by, I hope you will have a chance to check out the show. We have a bird feeder next to a small tree in our front yard that is constantly full of birds....predominately Dark Eyed Junco's. This one decided to get into a stare down with me. Not afraid either. I was within 6-7 feet of him at one point and had to back up to use my 600 mm lens for this shot.
