Photo of the Week - October 31, 2016

It seemed that I was out in Ghost Ranch and Abiquiu almost every week with a photo group for months. But here lately, I was missing the place so Chris & I went for a drive last Saturday on a beautiful New Mexico day. This image is from out west of Ghost Ranch looking back toward two of the many iconic features of the area, The Portal & Chimney Rock. Having a beautiful deep blue New Mexico sky didn't hurt things either.

Photo of the Week - October 24, 2016

A few weeks back the Martinez Hacienda hosted the "Old Taos Trade Fair" which included period dressed small encampments around the Rio Pueblo. These mountain men were having their morning coffee around the campfire after the previous nights rain.

Photo of the Week - October 17, 2016

A few weeks back I took a couple from Austin Texas (Dell & Paul) and my friend, John Farnsworth on a full day tour up to Chama, NM and over the Cumbres Pass to chase along the route of the Cumbres & Toltec narrow gauge train. Following along with us most of the way up the mountain (as we stopped at no fewer than 12 photo locations) was a exquisite 1920 Rolls Royce. Luckily the owner almost always parked his beauty right along side of the train tracks to make for some very unique photo opportunities.
